i was diagnosed with lung cancer, i have since gone through radiation and chemo.?

My last chemo was May 9th and last radiation was June 30th. Since then I find food makes me sick, I can’t stand the smell, I can’t stand the taste and I’m actually forcing myself to eat something. I’m relying on boost to make it through. Is this normal and how long should this go on. Also my hair hasn’t started growing back. Any idea how long that will take.

What are the chances of survival from Lung Cancer?

My mother in law has just found out she has lung cancer and a tumor in her lung. She will be getting surgery to remove the tumor tomorrow. What are the chances of everything being okay? Will she have to take radiation or chemotherapy afterwards? I would like to get input from anyone that has gone thru this experience. She is very scared and was a smoker for 22 years. Any information is more than welcome.

What does this mean? Has his cancer spread?

So I know that no one is going to give me a diagnosis here, nor am I asking for one. Here’s the deal. Someone I know had been diagnosed with skin cancer a year ago on his chest. He was doing the chemo and radiation and everything. He developed a cough about 7 months ago and has still been unable to get rid of this cough. Being stubborn, he refused to go to the doctor or say anything about it. Last week he became too weak to even get out of the bed. His wife finally forced him to go to the doctor, where they found several black spots on his lungs. Has his skin cancer spread to lung cancer? What are the chances considering one is on the external and the other internal? I know it is rarer for cancer to start off interally and go to the external (skin), but what about the other way around?
He is in the hospital now. No test results back. Just wondering for myself…what should I expect so not to be hit so hard when it does hit.
