I forgot to mention one thing it doesn&#8217;t hurt! I also forgot to mention that the whole process, from the moment I walk in the door of the cancer center to the moment I walk out again, takes about a half hour. Radiation itself takes about five minutes.<!-- odiogo-notts-begin -->

<p><b>Product Description</b><br />It is clear that lumpectomy followed by breast radiation therapy is equivalent to modified radical mastectomy as a treatment for primary breast cancer. However, given that the indications for adjuvant therapy are continuing to evolve and that such treatment may influence the local recurrence rate, several studies have addressed the question of whether the use of adjuvant tamoxifen therapy makes the use of radiation therapy unnecessary.
