There is a lot of positive news these days for our colleague Kelley Tuthill. Her surgery to remove breast cancer is over. She has finished chemotherapy, too.But now, she is well into the daily grind of radiation and it’s taking a toll on her body and her energy.

Due to age, possible damage of skin and/or internal organs wanting to maintain quality of life. Is this a common choice of older cancer patients?

Ok here is the problem my mom went through this but somehow has tan skin under her arm where the incision was for her breast cancer treatment and feels itchy all over is this normal?
She also has pink or red skin in the area,…… is this normal?
I also meant red and pink skin around the incision area and breast….

I have breast cancer and undergoing radiation therapy.My skin around the surgical wound areas and underarm is totally dark now and I find it uncomfortable to wear sleeveless clothing. Please help.

Breast Cancer Patient in dilemma whether to go for radiation or not. They know many patients (with no medical treatment) who survived for many years.

My aunt has had breast cancer for years. It went away for a bit, but has come back. She is taking radiation and has developed a hole in her chest that burns, which is where they put the radiation.
