So, my 8-year old brother is being treated for brain cancer (medulloblastoma tumor) it was removed completely, but the problem is that doctors still want to make sure it won’t come back, so they’re using chemotherapy and radiation. That they say, might cause skin cancer later on in his life. What I’m asking is : 1. Is skin cancer curable? 2. Can it be deadly? how? 3. What are the treatments for it?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 9 months now. Things are going very well, we seem to be close. He had brain cancer around age 13 and received radiation therapy to get rid of it. Could this affect his ability to have kids now? He has used the pull out method with every one of his girlfriends whether or not they were on the pill. He’s 37 and hasn’t gotten anyone pregnant yet, doesn’t it seem like he should have gotten someone pregnant by now? We have talked about it and he thinks he has good sperm. Would it be right of me to ask him to get his sperm checked? I would still want to be with him even if his sperm had problems it would just be nice to know.

My sister has had stage 4 lung cancer for almost 6 years, and we just found out it has metastasized to her brain. She has over 20 lesions. We are meeting with her radiologist to get more info on Thursday. Anyone have any experience with this? Her doctor read her MRI and seems to think she will have about 10 treatments which should eradicate it (her lung cancer is a very slow growing type). Please don’t answer if all you can say is she’s going to die; I believe in positive energy…Thanks for your help.
Just for the record, she’s a non-smoker.

My mom, was diagnosed with brain cancer. She will be undergoing radiation therapy starting Monday, September 22nd. I was wondering if any of you out there have any advice, or suggestions, or anything that can help us with this. Thank you.
