two weeks ago i met someone and began dating them. we really like each other and have hit it off as far as compatability. on our second date he told me “i HAD a bout with cancer”. i asked him what type and he said basal cell carcinoma, which is one of the less severe forms of skin cancer and is very treatable if caught early. later in the week he sent me a text message saying he “had radiation” today..confusing if it WAS a bout with cancer right? then the type of cancer changed to a mass in the abdomen which is a very different type of cancer than the first. the very next day after the radiation treatment he spent the entire day moving! he has been very vague about this whole thing and not too forthcoming with answers to my questions; i am not trying to be nosy but something does not seem right about this. i’m sure it would be difficult to tell someone you just starting dating that you have cancer and perhaps he is just nervous about how to talk about it but..do you think he’s lying?

Ok here is the problem my mom went through this but somehow has tan skin under her arm where the incision was for her breast cancer treatment and feels itchy all over is this normal?
She also has pink or red skin in the area,…… is this normal?
I also meant red and pink skin around the incision area and breast….

I am writing a book about a cancer patient and I need to know about radiation. Whats the proccess? How long does it take? What are the side-affects? What does it feel like? Anything.

My sister has ulcerations in her esophagus from radiation and she cannot eat or drink anything. She has been on a feeding tube for 3 weeks. Now she seems to have a really bad smell coming from within. Any ideas what this is about?
I just got back from the hospital. They did a CT scan and found a new 8mm mass on the right back side of the base of her skull. Tomorrow they are doing an MRI. I fear the cancer has spread to her brain.
